Liv Boeree is a British professional poker player, science communicator, television presenter, and host of the Win-Win Podcast. She is the only female player to win the WSOP bracelet and EPT event.
Background
Olivia "Liv" Boeree was born on 18 July 1984 in Hollingbourne. She studied at Ashford School and later earned a degree in physics with first-class honours in Astrophysics from the University of Manchester. He was also a part of heavy metal bands Dissonance and Nemhaim as a lead guitarist and modelled for several clothing brands, including Alchemy Gothic.

She was one of the five contestants in the reality TV show Ultimate Poker Showdown, which is how she was introduced to poker. Several poker professionals, including& Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke, and Dave Ulliott, coached her during her appearance in the show.
She won the Ladbrokes European Ladies Championships 2008 and took $30,000 home. In 2010, she became the third woman to win the EPT tile. She played in the European Poker Tour main event, the largest poker tournament held in Europe, and took €1,250,000 home.
She played in event #2, the "$10,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold'em Championship and won $273,964 in the 2017 WSOP.
She was runner-up in the 2014 UKIPT Edinburgh Main Event and won the Poker After Dark in 2017. She finished third in the EPT Barcelona High Roller event and €391,000 home.
She has been a member of Poker Stars Pro since 2010. In November 2019, she announced on Twitter that she was leaving Poker Stars and poker.
She returned to poker in 2024; she played in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise Event. She finished fourth in the $25,000 WSOP Super Main Event tournament and took $2,800,000 home.
