Daniel Negreanu’s Early life
Negreanu was born on July 26, 1974 in Ontario, Canada. He fell in love with the card game at the age of 14. He dropped out of school and started spending hours playing Poker at the local gaming rooms. Shortly after learning the basics of the game, on his 21st birthday, he went to Las Vegas to play Poker professionally. However, things didn’t work out his way and he lost all his bankroll on the table. He went back to Toronto to earn more experience of playing at real stake tables. Negreanu started serving as the official spokesperson for Poker Mountain in December 2005. He used the alias "KidPoker" when playing at this cardroom. He announced his decision to end that relationship in June 2005, citing software problems that were so troublesome that the site had to be shut down.
