Adam Levy is an American professional poker player. He is known as Roothlus by his online alias. In his early poker career, he collaborated with Chad Batista and developed several poker strategies. This includes experimenting with preflop calls and modifying raise sizes.

Adam was born in New York, U.S. He used to play Magic: The Gathering, which gave him a strategic mindset. He played poker throughout his life and then took a break from it. During a pandemic, he got a job as an analyst with Apruvd and loved doing that.
He tried to return to poker and played with zeros for a couple of months but got bored quickly. In an interview, he said, ‘I asked myself: “What are you doing? Are you sure you want this?” My love for the game did not go away, but I did not want it to become my main activity again.’
