Darren Elias is an American professional poker player, former mathematician, creative writing graduate, and physics student. He holds the record for most WPT titles.
Background
Darren Elias was born on November 18, 1987, in Boston. Before entering poker, he was an ocean lifeguard in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He attended the University of Redlands and studied mathematics and physics. He later switched to creative writing and graduated in 2008.
Darren Elias Poker Career
Elias chased on the World Poker Tour and made over $4,800,000 of his total winnings. He ranked first all-time in victories, final tables, and cashes on the World Poker Tour and is often referred to as ‘The End Boss.’ he was a brand ambassador for BetMGM in 2021.
Apart from his live poker success, he has won over $8 million online poker. He played under the name ‘Darrenelia’s’ on Pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker. He has won two World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) titles and an FTOPS title. He even ranked first in the online poker in 2009.
