Douglas K. Pol is an American professional poker player. His screen name is WCGRider, and he is known for playing heads-up no-limit holdem. Polk is a three-time WSOP bracelet champion and a co-owner of The Lodge Card Club, the largest poker room in Texas.

Doug Polk was born in Pasadena, California, on December 16, 1998. He started playing strategy games when he was five, and later, his father taught him chess. His family then moved to Raleigh, North Carolina. When he was 15, he finished several World Cyber Games tournaments as a Warcraft 3 electronic sports player.

Polk dropped out of the University of North Carolina Wilmington to pursue full-time poker. He started with $0.01/$0.02 stakes at PokerStar and converted a $20 buy-in into $10,000. In 2011, he went nearly broke and decided to focus on the game. By 2013, he became one of the best online cash game players in heads-up. He played with Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky; Polk won and took $740,000 and a $100,000 bonus.
In mid-2015, he started a poker training site called Upswing Poker and his YouTube channel in 2016. He was selected to play heads-up no-limit holdem against A.I. poker bot Claudico. Players like Dong Kim, Jason Les, and Bjorn Li also participated in this game. Each player had to play 20,000 hands against the bot. The humans defeated the bot with 732,713 chips and got $100,000.
In 2017, he won the WSOP One Drop High Roller tournament. In the same year, his total live tournament earnings exceeded $9,400,000.
Next year, he announced that he would quit poker but continue to upload videos on his YouTube channel.
In 2020, he uploaded a video saying he doesn’t like poker and is formally quitting. The same year, he challenged Daniel Negreanu to a high-stakes heads-up, no-limit hold'em match. The match ended on February 4, 2021, with Polk winning $1,200,000. He also won an additional $530,000 in public side bets.
