Biography
Jack Keller was an American professional poker player who won the 1984 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. He also won three WSOP bracelets and an Amarillo Slim's Super Bowl of Poker. In 1993, he was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame.
Background
Jack Keller was born in Tunica, Mississippi, on December 29, 1942. He started playing poker when he was a teenager in friendly Kitchen Games. He served in the US Air Force before getting into poker. While working as a stockbroker, he earned the nickname Gentleman Jack.
By the early 1980s, he had established a reputation as one of the country's best Seven Card Stud and Lowball players. Keller has three children, including the former poker professional Kathy Kolberg.

Keller won his first bracelet in 1984 in the $5,000 Seven Card Stud and Main Event, taking $660,000 and the bracelet home. He also won two Super Bowls of Poker Main Events when the tournament was considered the second most prestigious tournament in the world.
