Jason Mercier is an American professional poker player who has won six WSOP and one European Poker Tour title. He is a member of Team Poker Stars and was named player of the year by Bluff Magazine in 2009.
ESPN and the Global Poker Index ranked him number one in the world. He also holds the record for the most weeks spent, number one on the GPI, 84.

Jason Mercier was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on November 12, 1986. He started playing poker as a teenager but only took it seriously when attending college. In 2008, he won the EPT San Remo in season 4 and took €869,000 home. He made it to the next season of the EPT Barcelona event and won €227,800. In 2008, he won the EPT London £20,000 High Roller and another £516,000. In May 2013, he finished second in the 100,000 EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final and won $1,462,964.
World Series of Poker
Jason has won six gold World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and made it to the final table of the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event. He finished fourth in 2009 and eighth in 2012, winning £267,267 and €84,672, respectively.
