Personal Life
Lisandro was trained how to play cards by his mother. With age, he enhanced his proficiency and poker skills which made him much popular as a cash game specialist. He is also a familiar face on the poker tournament circle and is considered as one of the leading Seven Card Stud players in the world. Jeffrey is much popular for his practice of chewing gum at the poker table as he believes that it reduces tells.

Tournaments
Jeffrey Lisandro has won many tournaments and with his knowledge and skills he made his first final table appearance in a World Series of Poker event in 1997, in the $3,000 pot limit hold'em event which was won by Phil Hellmuth Jr.
In his career, Jeffrey has remained successful in reaching eleven WSOP final tables. He has won four bracelets, two in Seven Card Stud, one in Seven Card Stud hi/low and one in Razz.
Although he has played World Series of Poker but he has not made a final table on the World Poker Tour (WPT). But he tried and eventually finished in the money in two events.
In December 2004, Jeffrey Lisandro defeated Howard Lederer only to win the $25,000 limit hold'em heads-up tournament and earned the $194,000 grand prize.
In his poker career, he has confronted many proficient and well known poker players and defeated them. In May 2005, Jeffrey played the $10,000 no limit hold'em WSOP circuit event at Lake Tahoe and won it by vanquishing the legendary poker player Phil Ivey and won the $542,360 prize. Lisandro believes that this victory means much to him and considers it to be one of his greatest achievements because he defeated Phil Ivey, one of the best poker players in the world.
In the 2006 WSOP main event, Jeffrey Lisandro finished 17th and earned winnings $659,730.
The year 2007 is very significant as he won his first World Series of Poker bracelet in the $2,000 Seven-Card Stud event where he defeated Nick Frangos and Daniel Negreanu. In the same year, he was placed second in the World Championship Pot Limit Hold'em (Event 13) and earned $294,620.
Apart from the real tables, Jeffrey also plays poker online at the popular gaming portal PokerStars.
Till the year 2010, his total live tournament winnings exceed $4,400,000 and through his 35 cash winnings at the WSOP he has made $2,928,469.
In 2009, Jeffrey Lisandro won the WSOP Player of the Year award making him of the successful poker players in the world of poker.
Jeffrey Lisandro has won World Series of Poker bracelets in the following years; 2007 in the event $2,000 Seven-Card Stud, 2009 in the event $1,500 Seven-Card Stud, 2009 in the event $10,000 World Championship Seven-Card Stud H/L-8, 2009 in the event $2,500 Razz and in the year 2010 WSOPE in the event £5,250 Pot-Limit Omaha.
At the 2009 World Series of Poker, Jeffrey Lisandro created the record for being the first poker player to capture a World Series title in all three seven-card stud disciplines at the same Series when he won tournaments in Stud High, Stud High-Low, and Razz.
