Jeffrey Lisandro has won many tournaments. With his knowledge and skills, he made his first final table appearance in a World Series of Poker event in 1997, in the $3,000 pot limit hold'em event, which Phil Hellmuth Jr won.
Jeffrey has reached eleven WSOP final tables in his career. He has also won four bracelets: two in Seven Card Stud, one in Seven Card Stud hi/low, and one in Razz.
Although he has played in the World Series of Poker, he has not made a final table on the World Poker Tour (WPT). However, he tried and eventually finished the money in two events.
In December 2004, Jeffrey Lisandro defeated Howard Lederer only to win the $25,000 limit hold'em heads-up tournament and earn the $194,000 grand prize.

In May 2005, Jeffrey played the $10,000 no-limit hold 'em WSOP circuit event at Lake Tahoe and won it by vanquishing the legendary poker player Phil Ivey and winning the $542,360 prize. Lisandro believes that this victory means much to him and considers it one of his greatest achievements because he defeated Phil Ivey, one of the best poker players in the world.
In the 2006 WSOP main event, Jeffrey Lisandro finished 17th and earned winnings of $659,730.
2007 is very significant as he won his first World Series of Poker bracelet in the $2,000 Seven-Card Stud event, where he defeated Nick Frangos and Daniel Negreanu. The same year, he was placed second in the World Championship Pot Limit Hold'em (Event 13) and earned $294,620.
