Kane Kalas was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, on May 11, 1989. He is the son of Baseball Hall of Fame member Harry Kalas. His father is a Philadelphia Phillies play-by-play commentator. His brother Todd Kalas is also a play-by-play commentator for the Houston Astros.
