Olga Iermolcheva is a Ukrainian professional poker player and GGPoker’s Game of Gold contestant. She is 21st on the Ukraine All-Time Money List and is the highest-ranking female player in the nation.
Background
Olga was born on December 19, 1992, in Ukraine. She wanted to become an English professor and studied at the Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy. Her classmate suggested that she pursue poker, and she tried and fell in love with the game.
Olga Iermolcheva Poker Career
Olga Iermolcheva recorded her first cash in 2012, finishing second in the €330 buy-in Ladies' event in the Poker Stars European Poker Tour (EPT) Sanremo festival. Three months later, she won a €550 buy-in tournament at the Russian Poker Tour.
In 2014, she won her first five-figure when she won the €550 NLHE Deepstack at EPT Barcelona, taking €25,400 home. The following year, she finished second in the $2,500 LAPT Panama Main Event and won $113,580.
In 2022, she finished fourth in the $2,000 Venetian DeepStack Championship Ultimate Bounty event and won $95,494. A few months later, she finished second in the $1,000 WPT Ladies World Championship and won $70,008.
In 2023, she became a household name after appearing in the Game of Gold televised poker show and, in 2024, in the episodes of Poker Stars Mystery Cash Challenge.
