Rummy game needs no introduction, nor any explanation. It has been a very popular game, since a very long time. The young and the old like to play this game. It is a favorite with all, because it is easy to understand and can be played all the time. Also there is no continuity between the first game and the next game and hence anyone can withdraw form their seat without any qualms. However having said this, it is not an easy game and play it like a professional , one needs to apply their judgment and develop expertise in playing the game, in understanding the opponents and also understand the finer nuances of the Rummy game.

• The cards which have been discarded by our opponents- this is necessary , so that we know if we can expect a card that we need , or the cards we need have already been discarded in the discarded pile , by the other players.

• We need to keep a watch on and remember the card that we have discarded to our immediate player and also the cards that have been picked by that player. This will enable us to assess, which cards to discard to our immediate player.

Rummy is a game of skill and involves being vigilant, developing the knack of remembering cards and over a period of time, developing talent and hone our skills

After having played for sometime with the same players, we should be able to assess the game of our players, because every one has a way of playing, and we are able to predict the playing style of our opponent, it is half the game won.
